10am-11am -Cognitive Biases and Complex Problems - Can Web 2.0 Help Solve Climate Change? I analyse human behaviour for a living, using cognitive / behavioural science and complexity science. In this talk I'll look at how "cognitive biases" (systematic deviations from rational behaviour) affect the (disappointing) human response to climate change, and explore whether facebook apps and facebook connect may be able to help the situation.
